Directions from Parry’s Lane
Follow Parry’s Lane, heading away from the Downs,
to the end of the road, and then turn left onto Cross
Elms Lane. Take the first right at the mini-roundabout,
onto Shirehampton Road. Follow Shirehampton Road,
taking the third left onto Sea Mills Lane. At the
end of Sea Mills Lane is the A4 Portway.
Please note that Portway Rugby Development Centre
shares a driveway with Manor Farm Football Club. You
need to be travelling towards Avonmouth along the
A4 Portway to be able to turn left into Manor Farm
Football Club car park just after the bridge over
the River Avon. There is a Bus Stop and small lay-by
just before the turn off.
If you are heading towards Bristol you can turn left
into Roman Way. Follow Roman Way & you will see
the road split into two. Take the left split on to
Branscombe Road go right to the end of this road and
turn left on to Avon Way, down the hill and at the
junction turn left on to Sea Mills Lane. Carry along
this road and you will go under a bridge, follow the
road around to the left and up the hill, this will
bring you back onto the A4 Portway but heading the
right way to be able to turn in to the ground.
Car parking:
Free car parking is available for 100 cars
with access for coaches and disabled people.
Train Information:
- Board at Clifton Down Train Station
- Get off at Sea Mills
- Exiting the station, head towards the bridge and
you will see a junction. Turn right and head up the
hill, at the top of the hill you will see the Portway,
turn left and follow the flow of traffic, carry along
the road over the bridge you saw when you left the
station, keep going and the ground is on your left.
- Trains are once per hour, so arrive at the station
in plenty of time

From Halls, you can board the 40/40A, and travel
to Sea Mills square (10 mins). Get off at the square
(look for the name of the stop on the bus shelter),
and walk briefly uphill, before turning left down
Sylvan Way. After 200 yards downhill, you see the
Portway, cross over & turn left, the entrance
to Portway is the next turning on your right.
