Varsity is almost here, which means it's time to put on your game face!

It's traditional at American football games for fans to get in on the action by dressing up to show support for their school, and the theme for this year's Varsity is Show Your Colours, giving you the chance to win prizes and stash thanks to our competition sponsors.

Each quarter of the Varsity game, the live commentary team will be picking out the best display of school spirit and handing out some great prizes. Whether it's a crazy costume, funny hat, the best facepaint or a great banner, anything goes so long as it's somehow related to your University and it's colours, or one of the teams playing.

You could break out the facepaint and show up wearing the red, black and white of UWE or decide to dress up as a giant Barracuda, it's entirely up to you. Alternatively, a clever banner will just as likely catch the judge's eye. Fans can work together, and each have a letter of the team name or a slogan painted on their chests. Almost anything goes!

Of course, it goes without saying that bragging rights are at stake, and the commentators will be keeping score as to who wins the most spot prizes for their respective university. Who is the best, UWE or Bristol, only you can decide the result!
