As the football year drew to its close the time came for the team to elect a new committee for the 2018/19 season.
With a roster filled with rookies, there was sure to be a youthful presence amongst those taking over control of the society. The election results were as follows:
Club President: Jacob Wood
The second year PhD offensive lineman has stepped up from his role as treasurer to lead the Barracuda into the 18/19 season. His wisdom and wealth of experience are sure to bring great things to an exciting committee.
Secretary: Sam Leale-Green
With countless years of Cuda playing time under his belt, this reliable wide receiver brings experience and immense football knowledge into a role of great responsibility.
Treasurer: Ed Lunnon
This man loves spreadsheets. Having spent the past season locked away counting up subs, this second year cornerback has emerged once again to take over the club's finances.
Game Day Manager: James Southon
Fresh from a year in Austin, Texas this third year wide receiver is ready for his triumphant return in this committee role. He knows his chicken, and he knows how to create a genuine American atsmosphere.
Equipment Manager: Khrishan Kumar
Classics student and rookie offensive lineman Khrishan will bring some of that grit from the trenches into this sought after role of kit manager.
Internal Comms Officer: Luke Wilcox
Second year defensive back Luke has come back for another year as Cuda's Comms officer. Bringing spicy memes and concise emails, Cuda communication will be safe in Luke's hands.
Strength and Conditioning Officer: Karim Allaouat
You're looking at one well conditioned boi. This rookie linebacker was nothing less than a stunner on the defense this year, scoring a hatrick of sacks on Southampton's unfortunate quarterback. Keep an eye out for his tailored gym programme that should kick some lift into the Cuda ranks.
Subs Collection Officer: Jonah Edmonds
Known for his off-field antics just as much as those on the field, Jaegerbomb Jonah will be the one knocking on your door come payday. The rookie wide receiver has seen plenty of paydirt in his first year but it's your cash he'll be raking in as he becomes this year's Cuda Taxman.
Social Secretary: Chris Bryant
He's got a Lizard Lounge tattoo.
Community Relations Officer: Oliver McDowell
An unrelenting, ACL tearing force on the field, this veteran linebacker is now taking time to give back to the community. You may be used to him wrapped around your ankles mid training, but this year you'll find him working hard on Cuda's charitable and community events.
Welfare Officer: Luke Barnett
This rookie defensive lineman is full of ideas when it comes to assuring the mental and physical welfare of the Cuda roster. He may show no mercy in the trenches but he'll be your man if you need to talk something over off the field.
Website Officer: Rory Macnair
A French and Spanish student on his year abroad, surely he's got too much going on for a committee position? This second year fullback/wide receiver/quarterback has shown just how much spare time he has with his constant memes and graphics this year and is sure to bring this same commitment to managing Cuda's new website.
Marketing and Sponsorship Officer: Matt Parry
Another member of Cuda's new generation of defensive lineman, Matt will be liaising with our generous sponsors to organise some unmissable socials and much appreciated support.
